The Heronfield Academy music program begins with an all-inclusive 6th-grade band allowing students to continue or begin their study of a musical instrument playing as an ensemble, cultivating personal connections, teamwork, and an appreciation for making music as a community.

Students are also encouraged to participate in after school vocal, band, classical, and music production ensembles to further their musical skills with a more advanced repertoire.

In their time at Heronfield students learn the beginnings of music theory, rehearse, perform and create music working towards the goal of fostering a lifelong appreciation for the art form and the many benefits it provides.
